About Us

La Maison des Dames is our story, that of a couple living in Brussels who fell by chance in love with an old house in a village they did not know existed before settling there.

It is then the discovery of the history of the house during the development work and the discovery of an underground, stone vaults or the base of a medieval tower. Living in the heart of the remains of an old Romanesque abbey, a shame for a couple of historians...

It is also a house that has become very large when the children leave just before the first confinement and a questioning of our future, our desires and our values.

It is finally the decision to open the house and share it with you during a simple, friendly and local meal or a quiet stay in the countryside.
